Is anybody else pumped about the premiere of season 9 of American Idol tonight? I'm PUMPED. I'm not sure yet how I feel about Ellen replacing Paula this year, but I'm going into it with an open mind. We'll see how that goes. What are your opinions of the new judge?
I also heard that Simon is leaving after this season. What in the world will AI be like without him?

American Idol with no Simon is no way to live! Also, I am not too thrilled with Ellen. I think she can be tactless and vulgar at times! Paula balanced the commentary and kept it upbeat most of the time!! Happy Watching!!
Not a fan of Idol, but I do enjoy the occasional clip of Simon destroying a complete weirdo. Definitely won't be the same without him. Enjoy this season!
