Well... I totally failed on my February blog challenge. It's crazy at school this time of the year and my bulldogs have been keeping me busy, but I'm choosing to blame this guy for my lack of blogging...

Perhaps I'll be back soon. Don't quit on me!

Feb. 8: Sun

The sun peeked out a couple of times during this cool day, but it was the moon that really caught my eye! (Here I go again changing up the challenge!)
But seriously... Isn't that beautiful? How can somebody look at this and think there's no God?

Feb. 7: Button

Right now, my favorite button is on my remote control!

After a couple of tough days at school, I came home today, took Max for a walk, and am now relaxing with a glass of wine and my DVR!

My Tuesday just got better...

Feb. 6: Dinner

I love the Super Bowl.  Not because I am a fan of the NFL (College sports, please!), but because I love a good excuse to get together with fun friends and eat yummy food! Yesterday I made Mini Mexican Pizzas.  They were SO easy and tasted FANTASTIC! 

(Luckily, I had a little left over, so that's exactly what I had for dinner tonight!)

Feb. 5: 10 am

And yet, another strange request for this February challenge, but alas, I shall oblige.

This morning at 10, I was at church listening to my wonderful pastor preach an amazing sermon from James.  Since it's Super Bowl Sunday, he used football analogies, which I thought was just genius since so many people had football on their minds anyway!  What a blessing that man is to our church, my family, and this town! I just love him.

What were you doing at 10 AM?

Tomorrow is Monday, and I'm hoping not to see 10 PM tonight, so I'm off.

Feb 4: Stranger

For my day 4 challenge, I was to post a picture of a stranger.  That's just a little weird though, don't you think?  I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want a stranger taking a picture of me and posting it on their blog.

So...instead, I'm including my new favorite picture....

Feb. 3: Hands

This blog contains nearly 1,000 posts and I'm pretty sure I've never blogged about my hands.

But...for those of you dying to see what my hand looks like, here ya go:

My hands (and feet) are nearly identical to my dad's-- a more feminine version of them of course.

My fingers are long and thin and my middle fingers are crooked.  I generally like to have painted nails, but I've been too lazy to paint them lately I'm in between polishes right now.  My nails are short at the moment because I pick at them when I'm nervous or stressed, and well, school's done it to me lately!  They stay nice and pretty during the summer!

I'm also wearing my Nana's ring here, which I wear nearly everyday. It makes me happy.

Current guilty pleasure: "Desperate Housewives" and "The Bachelor."  I know, I know.  Pinterest is also on this list. Oh, and mexican is still very much a guilty pleasure of mine too.

Current nail polish: OPI Mermaid's Tears.  LOVE.

Current play list: Quite a variety, actually! A little country, a little contemporary Christian.  Loving Miranda Lambert, David Phelps, and Adele right now. I know.  So random.

Current read: Whatever my 2nd graders are reading!

Current drink: Diet Coke and coffee for those times I need to find a way to survive my day a little boost and a glass of wine when I want to relax!

Current food: Peanut butter and cheese.  But not at the same time.

Current favorite show:  It's American Idol time! 

I also very much love Dr. Phil, 48 Hours Mystery, Dateline, and Desperate Housewives.  Again with my randomness....  I know.

Current wish list: That there was no such thing as cancer.  I also wish I could sing.

Current triumphs:  I made it through another day, didn't I?

Current excitement: I'm going shopping at Deep South Pout tomorrow to spend my entire paycheck buy some new "must haves" for spring! Yay!
