2 things make me extra happy during football season: 1. when MSU wins 2. when Ole Miss loses. We started off a little rocky with our season opener, but we pulled through Saturday!
I have cute pictures to post and I'll do so when my computer decides to cooperate. However, I couldn't resist posting the video of Henry showing his bulldog spirit! GO STATE!

Okay, so I don't really understand why State fans are so concerned with how Ole Miss does. As an Ole Miss fan, I don't cheer against State. It looks good for the conference when all the SEC is successful. THe only time I cheer for Ole Miss over State is when they play each other. Anyway, I just State fans would worry about State.
But since you want to cheer against us - let me remind you: Ole Miss lost by 2 to the #20 ranked team in the country. State lost to who? ULM....and wow you beat Southeastern LA.

actually, some of my family has a nickname for me...they call me "princess". so i would be last one to call someone else that :)

well my good friends that are state fans always talk about ole miss first. hello you're a state fan, shouldn't you be more concerned with how state does than ole miss.
but you're right, at the end of the day a loss is a loss. and we are both 1-1, but since you were pointing out that ole miss lost and state won, i was just reminding you of the season thus far for both teams.
I hated to see State loose to ULM and am glad y'all won this week. I think Croom is a good man and inherited a program that they let Sherrill run in the ground for too long. Y'all need a quarterback and then maybe things will turn around. I just hope Croom makes it through to get the program in the right direction.

Wasn't aware we played Louisiana-Monroe. Losing to Louisiana Tech did suck, though. Congrats on reaching one-third your win total of last year, anonymous!

Goodness, I was going to keep silent during this she said/ she said between the LT blog and Anonymous until Anonymous poor mouthed my dear sweet Jackie! Jackie Sherrill (no matter the aftermath) is the best thing that ever happened to State football. Going 8-0 my Senior year was a highlight while attending State. I assure you it will be a cold day before Croom leads the boys to an 8-0 season! A nice guy does not always make for a good coach. No matter, the real reason for commenting was to let LT know just how precious little Henry is. No wonder you're in love with the little man! Have a good week!

I feel like I'm listening to sports talk radio! Chill out people and just look at my precious son in his cute little jersey. No matter who wins football, he will always be cute!
