a site to share and advice needed!

First of all, happy Monday to you. For me, it's just another glorious day of summer, but for most of you, it's a very blah, dreaded day. I pity you.
Secondly, my mom told me about this great new site! This is a website where you can order ALL your cleaning supplies, detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, EVERYTHING that you would normally have to get at Wal-Mart. They are shipped to you for FREE! PLUS, the prices are as low, if not lower than you would pay anywhere else!
Here's what you do: go to http://www.alice.com/ and sign up (it's FREE!).
Then you just select the products you want (you don't have to order them now--just get them in your menu). Also, if you share how long you think the products will last, you will receive a reminder when you're running low on them! SO EASY!
After you get all your products in your list, you can order what you need, when you need it! It's as simple as that! So, go ahead and remove "Go to Wal-Mart" from your to do list and let the shopping come to you! Give it a try!
Now, for the advice. MY WATCH BROKE and I can't stand not knowing what time it is! It was a watch I had had for years, and I was already thinking about getting a new one sometime soon. So, I'd rather buy a new one instead of getting my old one repaired. Here's are my requirements:
1. nice one
2. have gold on it
3. trendy but not TOO trendy
4. reasonably priced
Any ideas? Suggestions? Brand names? Websites? I don't even know what's stylish now!
I can't tell you how many times I look at my bare wrist and wonder what time it is! Help!

Can't wait to get home and open my first shipment from Alice! I ordered Thursday afternoon, and it's here today! Now, if they could find a way to ship milk, fruit, etc., I'd be the happiest person around!

I've had two-tone (gold and silver) watches for my last two. Spouse picked out the first - it was a Timex Indiglo. I loved it! So...when it quit, I found a Carriage (made by Timex) similar to it at Wal-Mart...less than $30.00 or so, a Timex keeps on ticking. Please let us know what you end up with...your blog is so interesting! Thanks for the alice.com tip; let us know if you find the milk & bread shopping site!

remember when you had a disney watch that played "it's a small world".
You could do that again.

I ALWAYS wear a watch, so I understand the weird empty wrist feeling. My last two watches have been Anne Klein from Belk or Dillards. Mine is two-tone (gold & silver), and I've been really happy with it. More classic though, not super trendy, although they do have some styles that are trendier than others. A quality watch that's less expensive than Fossil.

You should totally go see it. Of course, it's sad and you'll end up crying but at least you go in knowing that. There's no shame in the ugly cry when you are sitting with three other girls who are doing it right along with you. Plus, it's dark.

Try tocswatches.com. They are trendy-no gold but they are super cute and affordable.

Try the website www.watchzone.com I got my last few from there and the brand is Kenneth Cole. They hold up great and on this site, are usually half off retail. So, a $100 watch is around $50. I even got one for $29.99, on clearance last time! Worth checking out. They also have all brands...guess, AK, Fossil, even high end, although I only look at those for fun!

About 3 years ago, David bought me a watch for my birthday from a website called bluedial. This is my favorite watch of ALL TIME. It's a Citizen EcoDrive which means that the sun naturally powers it and you'll never need a battery!!! I'm pretty hard on watches and this one has been through a lot and there's not even a nic on the crystal. You can get them in any type of metal...mine is silver with some gold on the band. I think David paid about $100 for it, but it's truly the bomb. I wear my watch all the time, so I feel your pain!
