SUCH a slacker.

Goodness gracious.  Where have I been?

Well...I wish I could say that I met...
....we fell madly in love, and then we lived

OR
even that I was here (preferrably with the handsome, rich, nice man mentioned above) :

....sipping on something that looks similar to this:

But alas, that's just not the case.
Sad.

Here's a little of what really has kept me busy these past several weeks...

Folks, let me tell you something.  I love teaching.  I do. (Why else would I do it after all?)  But, so far, this has been the most challenging year in all my 8 years of teaching.  Don't get me wrong, I love my students, principals, and co-workers, so pinpointing exactly what is making this year so difficult has been challenging.  I'm not here to complain (I'm so very thankful to have a job!), but I just thought I owed a partial explanation as to why I've been so slackerish with the blog.  Hopefully, my priorities will get back to normal soon, and blogging will be back at the top of my list! :)
In all seriousness, though, there have been some issues--both school-related and non school-related---that have been going on in the past couple of months.  Prayers appreciated....

Other things (people!) keeping me busy:
-These 3 sunshines of my life:

Did I mention that both of my sisters are now living in Starkville, which means I get to see those sweet little ones all of the time now?!  Nothing could make me happier.

-Some MSU tailgating and football!
I love my bulldogs.  Have I mentioned that before?
My dear friends Jimbo and Caroline Hearnsberger
-A gorgeous wedding weekend in Jackson
Me and Heather.  She was the beautiful Matron of Honor at her sister's wedding
And seriously, y'all, this wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been to!  It was outside, the weather was perfect, the decorations were to-die-for, the food was divine, the band was awesome, etc. etc. etc.  I think you get the point.
I took some pictures of the decor and such (although you really had to see it to understand just how beautiful it was!).
Take a look:

....and a few more amazing pictures I saw on facebook, but can't take credit for taking them myself...

Beautiful.

So, see?

I really have been busy.

Hoping that my busyness will stop interfering with my blogging though.  It's really getting on my nerves.

Thanks for hanging in there with me!  I'm glad to know you're still reading about My Little Life!

I shall now leave you with my new favorite thing:

Hoping your Wednesday is fantastic.
xoxo-

Hang in there friend. I remember those school feelings. It's seems to get harder each year in a different way. :) I'm thinking about you and praying for you. Xoxo
